The Gadflys

From Canberra, Australia — The Gadflys mixed the busking flavour of the [a87643] with all manner of American roots music (rockabilly, country, R&B, jazz). The late 1984 line-up comprised Mick and Phil Moriarty, Anthony Hayes (guitar), [a404187] (bass) and [a1804675] (drums). Hayes, Dalton and Velzen all left in 1985 to form the [a923652]. The Gadflys broke up for a time, but the Moriarty brothers revived the name a few years later.
