Sir Barry Gibb, CBE (born September 1, 1946, Douglas, Isle of Man) is a British guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for the [a=Bee Gees]. He was knighted in the 2018 New Year Honours, for services to music. Son of [l=Hugh & Barbara Gibb]. Brother of [a=Lesley Gibb], [a=Robin Gibb], [a=Maurice Gibb] and [a=Andy Gibb]. Father of [a=Stephen Gibb], [a=Ashley Gibb], [a=Travis Gibb], Michael Gibb and Alexandra Gibb.
