Daisuke Kuroda

Japan’s leading Funk DJ ever since the Deep Funk movement was still at dawn, Daisuke Kuroda started his DJ career circa 1990, in the midst of Rare Groove movement. Later, introduced to the world of Funk 45s circa 1997, Dasiuke started Japan’s leading Deep Funk club event series “SEARCHING” in Tokyo (1999-2010), and now continues to run his own funk night "Wah Wah" monthly @ The Room which is still ongoing along with his “IN BUSINESS” bimonthly @ UNIT, also another his own night “kickin” monthly at Club Cactus, Roppongi, Tokyo. He continues to release his own funk mix CD series “kickin" (vol. 1-6) which is also what he named his new 45 reissue label founded at the beginning of 2015.
