415 (3)

415 originated from San Francisco California. The band would record 2 albums under the name 415 ("Area Code 415" and "Boys Night Out"). The band would see the departure of drummer Jimmy Hogland who left to go back to playing punk rock. 415 replaced Jimmy with Troy Luccketta who had just departed the band "Bennie And The Jets". The band would change their name to "Eric Martin Band" and go onto release the album "Sucker For A Pretty Face" on Elektra Records in 1983. The band would be dropped from the label before completing their sophomore release under the name Eric Martin Band. The band was dropped due to a past disagreement with then manager Herbie Herbert and the then CEO of Elektra. This disagreement took place before the band 415 ever formed. Most of the band members would go onto find fame in other bands. John Nymann would join Y&T, Troy Luccketta would join City Kidd (later named Tesla), Dave Jacobsen would join UFO and Eric Martin would help form the band Mr. Big.
