Circulation Of Events

Circulation of Events was an early alias of the Danish/Faroese experimental musician Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester, better known as [a=Goodiepal]. He began actively making and performing electronic music in the winter of 1986, and some of Kristian's early mentors and collaborators on the local Danish scene included [a288599] and [a1089046]. Kristian joined one of art projects organized by Bjertnes, [a258351] ("Denmark's Oldest Song Treasure" in English), which performed ancient Danish tribal melodies supposedly transcribed from the 9,000-year-old runic stone. In February 1994, Vester staged the "Interelektrolux" audio installation at a local Århus gallery with Danish saxophonist and experimental artist [a1939428]. He also befriended Martin Lindholm, founder of [l71189] label and 'Route 66' record store in Århus, who introduced Vester to other prominent local musicians, including [a254145] band. In 1995, Vester released [r=488163] CD compilation under the "Circulation of Events" moniker, which came out on [a4940043]'s label [l=Spoof] and summarized some of his projects and best tracks recorded between 1992 and '95. Vester also contributed to [r=229139] compilation on US trance label [l=Hypnotic] with Circulation of Events track (recorded with [a1089046]) and one composition from under his [a146820] alias. Despite the limited pressing of only 300 copies, vip. ibex (1992 - 1995) CD remained unsold for many years. In 2005, Kristian Vester re-distributed the remaining stock via [l=Pork Salad Press], with original jewel cases repackaged in new CD dust jackets designed by [a=Miss Le Bomb]. The album was available directly from Goodiepal's Brainwashed microsite, hosted by his label [l=V/VM Test Records], during live events and via selected retail stores, including [l89519] in New York, USA.
