Haywoode
British pop singer. Born London England. One of Stock, Aitken and Waterman's first successes. She released one album, "Arrival", simply as 'Haywoode', in the mid-1980's which had several successful singles. In the late 1980's she released a couple more singles as 'Sid Haywoode', before disappearing from the music scene. She was rumoured to have recorded a second album, "A Haywoode Return" for Hollywood Records, though this album's existence has yet to be proven. She finally released a new album, "Bounce Back", in 2011. On Jan 10, 2018 Sid Haywoode announced on Facebook that she was writing (liner) notes for a "collector's album" on [l5174]. Reflecting on an incident during the 1987 recording session for "I'm Your Puppet" in Philladelphia in the liner notes to [r11748848] she describes herself as "young Black Lithuanian Jewish Buddhist".
