Joost Langeveld

Joost Langeveld established himself as a bass player in the 1980's with bands such as Strawpeople, NRA, and Nemesis Dub Systems, before moving into music programming and production. He formed downbeat outfit [a=Unitone HiFi] with [a=Stinky Jim], signed to German label iNComing! - and toured Europe in the 90's. Upon his return to New Zealand, Langeveld became an active part of the [a=Kog Transmissions] collective, and ran Kog's house music label [l=Reliable]. Still produces music in 2020 - primarily with (and for) others - operates Bigpop Studios and manages record labels Black Lotus, Marigold Music and ToneTonic
