Keith Borden + Soul Sangha's debut album is the product of the band's years of sharing their soul-stirring interpretation of kirtan. "Spiritual Geometry" captures the ecstatic joy of a live kirtan's celebratory call-and-response singing, and distills the devotional practice into eight infectious tracks of song and mantra traditions from the U.S., India and Pakistan. Keith Borden, who has performed traditional and contemporary opera repertoire, modern song cycles, and avant-garde neo-classical vocal music, has assembled an ensemble of top-notch performers from both coasts for this recording. Bassist Shelley Nicole (BlaKbüshe), percussionists Ravish Momin (Tarana) and Dan Kennedy (Future Twin), singers Astrud Castillo (Kirtan Caravan) and Joy Radish (Black Sea Hotel), and pianist/producer Johannes Wallmann, join Keith Borden in a dynamic musical landscape that is sure to have you on your feet and singing along.
