Vocalist, Kent Robert Andersson was born on September 9, 1949 in Göteborg, Sweden. In 1969, Robert Löfvendahl, with his new name and an extra h to it, replaced [a1511317] in [a794495] and the band, with him as lead vocalist, had a number one hit on the Swedish charts. In the following year, Löfvendahl moved to [a1352990], where he stayed between 1970 and 1977, when he also got tired of the touring life and quit.
