Jim "Daddy" Walker

Jazz guitarist, born c. 1912 in Kansas City, Missouri, died May 19, 1949 in the same city. Walker worked with [a=George E. Lee], Jap Allen (1930-1931). From 1932 several years in Clarence Love's band. From 1940 regularly in Four Tons Of Rhythm. Last recording session three weeks before his death, backing singer [a=Walter Brown].
