Filiberto Rico

Not much is known about the life of this Cuban expatriate musician in Europe but "Filiberto Rico and his father Isidro, both clarinet players, have been credited with bringing the first Cuban Music to Paris, in 1926" (Bruce Bastin). Rico's Band was also one of the earliest recording Cuban bands in Paris (1931).
