Michie Mee

[a=Michelle McCullock] AKA Michie Mee is a Canadian rapper and actor of Jamaican descent. She holds the distinction of being the first female MC in Canada to get a US record deal. Her career began in 1987 when she featured on "Break'n Out", an all Canadian Hip-Hop compilation produced by [a=DJ Scott La Rock] (shortly before he died) and [a=KRS-One] from [a=Boogie Down Productions]. Her first album, "Jamaican Funk: Canadian Style" was released in 1991. Michie Mee also teamed up with [a=Phillip Gayle] AKA LA Luv as [a=Michie Mee And LA Luv].
