Joachim Kaiser (born 18 December 1928 in Milken, East Prussia (now Miłki, Poland) - died 11 May 2017 in Munich, Germany) was a German journalist, author and influential critic, since 1959 he was head editor for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, and from 1977 to 1996 professor for art and music history in Stuttgart.
