Khuli

Khuli aka Khuli Chana is a South African motswako rapper, born August 27th, 1982 in Mmabatho, North West, Republic of South Africa. Active since 1992 as a member of the rap group [a=Morafe], Khuli went solo in 2008, releasing his debut solo album 'Motswakoriginator' a year later. In 2016 he was nearly killed when South African police fired nine bullets into his vehicle, having mistaken him for another criminal. He was shot and taken to the hospital where he survived his wounds and settled the lawsuit out of court and got himself R1.8 million. In 2019 he got married to DJ and television personality Lamiez Holworthy.
