Magnus Kvintett

Swedish dance band from Moholm, formed in 1962. Periodically during the 1960s, the singer [a2928907] also participated. Magnus kvintett had success at the Svensktoppen Famous songs are "Varför", ”Ska du någonsin bli min?” and "Monica". The band disbanded during the 1980s, but in 2011 there was a reunion with [a3266539]. The lyrics to "Varför" were attributed on the original EP's record label - probably incorrectly - to Karin Boye. On later compilation records, it is attributed solely to Magnus Andersson.
