Robot Emilio

Robot Emilio was formed in mid-2019, when Eduardo Chirinos (vocals and guitar of Las Ruinas), who had a few new songs, got together with other regular musicians on the Barcelona scene: Carlos Leoz (Half Foot Outside, Me and the Bees, Standstill) on lead guitar, Blanca Lamar (Les Sueques) on bass, and Ángel Garau (Da Souza) on drums. During 2019 and 2020, the band rehearsed the songs from their first album, alternating it with some concerts, but everything stopped with the pandemic. At the end of 2020, the band finally recorded the album in the Ultramarinos studio with Santi García and in mid-2021 there were two changes in the line-up: Lamar and Garau were replaced by Paloma Durán (Walking Lands) and Dani Hun (Maple), respectively. The new band, already consolidated, does a few concerts and in February 2022 publishes the first album called "Al Lío!" with the label Beautyfool Records, 12 powerpop and artpop songs that they presented at various concerts during that year. At the beginning of 2023 they released the single “Le Corbusier” / “Viendo a la gente envejecer online” recorded with Marco Morgione in Micromaltese, and in March they recorded their second album “Vas Tarde” in La Atlántida Estudio with Edgar Beltri and which Caballito Records will publish at the beginning of November.
