Alex Napier (2)

Austin, Texas bassist, also known as Mr. Blue and Miles A. Napier. Born September 26, 1951 and died February 3, 2011. He moved from Dallas to Austin shortly after graduating high school in 1969 and played bass in various blues and blues rock bands over the next 40 years, including Paul Ray & The Cobras, Hook Herrera, Charlie and Will Sexton, the Leroi Brothers and Lou Ann Barton. He opened the club Rolling Hills during the early 70s in the Westlake area of Austin that eventually became Soap Creek Saloon.
