Middian

Middian was a doom metal band from Eugene, Oregon. The group was formed by vocalist/guitarist [a=Mike Scheidt] in 2006 following the break-up of his previous band, [a=Yob]. The band was rounded out by bassist [a=Will Lindsay] and drummer [a=Scott Headrick]. Signed to [l=Metal Blade Records], the group released the album "Age Eternal" in 2007. Following the release of the album, Middian entered into a lawsuit with Wisconsin-based band named Midian, who wanted to prevent Scheidt's group from using the Middian name. As of a result of the lawsuit, Metal Blade dropped the band. Middian briefly changed their name to Age Eternal before disbanding altogether in 2008. In the wake of the break-up, Scheidt resurrected Yob and Lindsay joined both [a=Wolves In The Throne Room] and [a=Indian (2)].
