Tony Dangerfield

Born August 31st 1944, Wolverhampton, England, died July 20th 2007. Tony Dangerfield's first band was a 3-piece called Gulliver's Travellers in which he was bass guitarist/vocalist. In January 1964 he then joined Screaming Lord Sutch And The Savages in the same role, along with Sutch (vocals), John Gilbey (guitar), Carlo Little (drums) & Tony Marsh (piano). Dangerfield subsequently worked with a number of notable musicians, including Ritchie Blackmore, the Gurvitz brothers, Billy Fury and Alan Bown. He was also produced/recorded by Joe Meek as Tony Dangerfield & The Thrills.
