QRG

QRG alias of Guilherme Queiroga, born in Recife in 1991. Started making music on the computer around 10 years of age and discovered a sweet spot for analog synthesizers. In 2011 after finishing school, Guilherme Queiroga went to study audio engineering at SAE - Institute of Technology and that's when the QRG persona was born. Aside from being the consonants of his last name, QRG is radio operator language (Q-code) to the question "WHAT IS MY FREQUENCY?", so it all just fits. After returning from NYC and spending a while in São Paulo, QRG went to Berlin and continued to release music and act as a producer and sometimes a ghost producer for big names in the American rap scene, relationships created from his time in NYC. Nowadays QRG is focusing on Playing live with his father, the legendary songwriter and latin grammy award winner producer Lula Queiroga, and creating soundtracks for documentaries and films. From 2014-2018 QRG created and managed the label Low Kick High Punch, which released music from artists all over the world, mainly in the genres of Garage, IDM, Experimental, Footwork and Ambient music.
