Victor Martin (3)

Born: 24th September 1940, Elne, France. (Of Spanish parentage) Concert and solo violinist. A pupil of [a=Antonio Arias], [a=Lorand Fenyves], and [a=Max Rostal]. Martin was director and first chair of the [a=Chamber Players of Toronto], a 15-piece string ensemble formed in 1968, who's works were primarily devoted to Baroque and Classical repertoires. Martin left the ensemble to reside in Spain in 1977.
