Ashot Sarkissjan

Ashot Sarkissjan is a classical violinist with a particular interest in contemporary music. He was born in 1977 in Yerevan, Armenia, and studied in Armenia and later Germany, where he co-founded the Ensemble Neue Musik Lübeck. Since 2002 he has been a member of Ensemble Intercontemporain (EIC) in Paris, and he joined the Arditti Quartet in June 2005.
