Their profile was elevated when their song [m=848369] came second in the forth staging of the Eusrovision Song Contest in Cannes in 1959. He and his wife charted twice in the U.K., first with "Sing, Little Birdie" , which landed at #12 in 1959, and then with "How Wonderful to Know", #23 in 1961.
