Caron Barrett

American multi-instrumentalist and business owner, based in Maui, Hawaii. She began her musical career as a teenager in Lubbock, Texas, playing with the all-girl band Boycott. She later played with the band Flux and formed her own group Astrogin in Dallas, Texas. Barrett owned [l=Last Beat Records] and [l=Last Beat Studios] in Dallas from 1991 to early 2006. She was also a partner / investor in other Dallas-area music venues. Barrett relocated to Hawaii in the early 2000s, closing Last Beat Studios in 2006. Barrett is the partner of singer [a=Deborah Vial]. The two were bandmates in Astrogin and now play together in the Deborah Vial Band.
