American singer and music teacher. Sister of blues drummer [a=Lance Womack]. Anna Womack moved from Arkansas to Austin, Texas and received a masters in voice from the University of Texas at Austin while singing with the bands Rotel And The Hot Tomatoes and One O’Clock Jump. Now Anna Teagarden, she teaches music at Houston school St. John of the Divine and runs a choir summer camp program in Marfa, Texas.
