A horn-driven instrumental dance band from Houston, Texas. Their music includes elements of jazz, funk, reggae, ska, hip-hop and world music. The band originally formed as a loose group of musicians jamming with Nick Cooper on drums from 1996 to 1998. From 1998 to 2001, the group formed a solid lineup with Cooper on drums and John Durbin, Marcos Melchor and Pete Sullivan on horns. The band then became a looser collective again before coalescing in 2006 with Nick Cooper on drums, Pete Sullivan and Jason Jackson on horns, Theo Bijarro on bass and Al Bear on guitar. Later additons include Jacob Breier on bass, Aaron Varnell on tenor sax, Tom Vandenboom on trombone and Matt Serice on trumpet. Over 120 musicians have contributed to their albums,
