The High Windows

Israeli pop-rock band formed in late 1966 by [a=Arik Einstein], [a=Shmulik Kraus], and [a=Josie Katz]. The trio recorded one self-titled album, [r4355626], which was certified platinum in Israel, and broke up in 1968. The group reformed in 1973, with [a=Eli Magen] replacing Einstein, recording three songs in the studio before disbanding again in 1974. In 2008, daily newspaper Yediot Ahranot selected [i]The High Windows[/i] as the most important album of the 1960s.
