Alex Roth

Composer, guitarist and producer Alex Roth’s diverse body of work spans from improvised solo performances to orchestral compositions; from dance, theatre and film scores to sound installations; and from Sephardic music ensemble Sefiroth to avant-pop quartet Blue-Eyed Hawk and numerous other bands. His music has been recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and London Sinfonietta, and his discography includes collaborations with singer/songwriter Alice Zawadzki (whose debut album China Lane Alex co-produced) and Mercury Prize nominee Laura Jurd. Based in London and Kraków, Alex leads an improvising trio with Polish musicians Wacław Zimpel and Hubert Zemler and also creates experimental electronic music.
