Monique Seka

Monique Séka is an Afro-zouk singer from Ivory Coast. Daughter of Okoi Seka, Ivorian singer of the 1990s, Monique Séka was born on November 22, 1953,4,5, so she frequented the world of music from a young age2. She is nicknamed the queen of Afro-zouk music and known for her exceptional tone of voice. With the musical fusion that she generates, Monique Seka is also a diva of Ivorian music. During the course of her career she met Dominique Richard, founding member of Radio Sun, who became her husband on March 31, 1995 and also her producer and manager. She became the mother of a daughter Carolyn Richard on February 9, 1998.
