Eddy Ryan (4)

Barbershop tenor vocalist. Tenor of the popular Easternaires barbershop quartet. Sang tenor with the Easternaires from 1961 to 1985 traveling all across the country and singing on Broadway with them in “The Music Man.” He also sang in other quartets such as the Rocket Tones, The Tradewinds, and even filling in on tenor with the 1980 SPEBSQSA International Champions, the Boston Common. He helped coach the Dapper Dans Of Harmony Chorus for several years. He was named one of the top ten best barbershop tenors of all time in 2015. He was inducted into the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Hall Of Fame along with other members of the Easternaires in 2018. Born on January 22, 1940 and died on November 30, 2019 at the age of 79.
