Social Outcast are a defunct hardcore punk band with anarcho / peace punk politics from Michigan. They originally formed in the late 80's in the Waterford / Pontiac, MI area. Consisting of... Jason McGregor (aka: Outcast) - Vocals Roger Atwood (aka: Lizard) - Vocals Kyle Novak (aka: Roast) - Bass Daren Sonnenberg - Guitar Mike Bellhumor (aka: Hippie) - Guitar Mike C. (aka: Munk) - Drums This line-up released the [r10659913] demo before breaking up. In June of '92 Jason, Roger & Kyle reformed the band, released the [m1086394] double 7" recorded by the previous line-up, and recruited a new guitarist (Larry) and drummer (Steve). The band would relocate to the metro Detroit, MI area around this time. This line-up would record the [r14520946], the [m474106] 7"& the [r1364811] split 7". Larry left the band shortly after this and was replaced by Trent on guitar. This new line-up would record 7 tracks in May of 1994 for an intended split 12" with [a750373]. However, the band would once again break-up after the sessions and the recordings were shelved until 2003 when they were released as [m1004443]. In 2005, the band reformed for a handful of re-union shows.
