BOULAONE

Boulaone is a DJ/producer/arranger living in the North of France. Hungry for new experiences he is searching for musical inputs in different places as Algeria (where he has part of his roots), Kenya, Senegal, Mauritania…As a member of DJ Grazzhoppa’s DJ Bigband he introduces his own musical influences towards the group. His musical approach reveals his love for soul, rhythm, digital beats and oriental elements. Various artists recognize him for his special clear cut skills and he is often asked to do remixes or sound designs for videos or exhibitions.We’ve noticed him on stage or studio with diverse artists as Kool Keith, Gnawa Diffusion, Ji Mob, Rob Swift, Kutmasta Kurt, the Shape Shifters, Jamalski…Lately he produced the first solo album of Goreala, an MC form Nairobi (Kenya) as also his own album GriGri (hosting 12 musicians for 14 instrumental compositions). Together with Ananke (jazztrio walk footsteps of Aka Moon) he brings the music of this album live in different clubs.
