William Faith

William Faith began his career as part of the Los Angeles music scene in the early eighties, performing with various Glam and Punk Rock bands, under a variety of pseudonyms. He co-founded the gothic punk outfit [a=Wreckage] in 1989, and would go on to be involved in various Christian Death-related bands, before forming [a=Faith And The Muse] with [a=Monica Richards] in 1993. In 2011 he relocated to Chicago, and in 2012 he formed [a=The Bellwether Syndicate] with internationally known DJ [a=Scary Lady Sarah] (aka Sarah Rose). "As a Musician he performed on recordings by [a=Collide], [a=Purr Machine], [a=Frankenstein], and others. William has also been a live member of [a=Tweaker], the project of Chris Vrenna (formerly of Nine Inch Nails), UK anarcho-punk legends [a=Conflict], and is an ongoing collaborator with Living [a=Jarboe], the current project of former SWANS diva Jarboe, and in 2007 released a CD with his punk band, [a=Anima Mundi]. Engineer/Producer/Programmer: William continues to produce music for other artists in his own project studio, known as [l=Zone 0]. In addition to Faith and the Muse, William has recorded, produced and remixed music for many artists, including Jarboe, In the Nursery, The Deep Eynde, L'âme Immortelle, This Ascension, Sunshine Blind, Element, Autumn, Penis Flytrap, Frankenstein, Malign, Wreckage, Christ vs. Warhol and others, with many more to follow. DJ: William has spun all over the U.S., Europe and South America, bringing an eclectic blend of genres together into a mix that is both unique and exciting. 2011, however, has heralded the birth of The Pirate Twins: the DJ team of William Faith and Scary Lady Sarah.
