I Wannabe

I Wannabe is a moniker of electronic musician Andrey Sirotkin, which is dedicated to drum and bass and breakbeat music. As I Wannabe Andrey started as drum and bass dj and producer in 2004. In 2008-2010 I Wanabe was a part of duo I Wannabe and Cryogen Heart who were focused on post-dubstep sound which played live with hardware only. From 2008 to 2012 I Wannabe released dubstep music which lead him to discovering techno-ish sound and music. From 2012 in parallel with alias I Wannabe Andrey started to release his techno music under his alias [a=Shade Of Drums]. After 2014 alias I Wannabe was dedicated only to drum and bass music. Since that time he co-produced tracks with Ukrainian producer Sunchase and had his tracks played at Noisia radio show. From 2018 his side project Shade Of Drums mutated into main alias [a=Andrey Sirotkin] for broader range of music – techno, acid, leftfield, electronic, ambient. From 2018 runs drum and bass label [l=Deviant Drums] records. From 2022 runs drum and bass radioshow Deviant Drums.
