Francesco Geminiani
Francesco Geminiani (Lucca, 1680 - 1762) was an Italian violinist, composer and music theorist of the Baroque era. He was a pupil of [a=Arcangelo Corelli] and [a=Alessandro Scarlatti] and he wrote the major parts of his works in England, where could enjoy some fame. Geminiani was a friend of [a=Georg Friedrich Händel] who often accompanied him on the harpsichord.
