José Miguel Moreno from Spain is one of the leading specialists of historical plucked string instruments, with a repertory that extends from the 16th century to the present day. He is the co-founder with his brother violin player [a1324365] of the [l=Glossa Music] label, he had previously recorded with [a=Teresa Berganza] for Philips and with [a=Hesperion XX] for Astrée as a soloist, as an accompanist, and with his ensembles [a=La Romanesca] and [a=Orphénica Lyra].
