Byrd Hoffman School Of Byrds

The Byrd Hoffman School of Byrds (named for a teacher who helped him overcome a severe stutter while a teenager) was the name of the experimental performance company founded by Robert Wilson in 1968. With this company, he directed his first major works, beginning with 1969's The King of Spain, to The Life and Times of Sigmund Freud, Deafman's Glance, KA Mountain, The Life and Times of Joseph Stalin etc.
