Christos Katsaitis

[a=DJ Christos] is one of South Africa's longest-spinning and most influential house producers/DJs. Co-founding [b]Kalawa Records[/b] (he's the "Ka" part), then [l=House Afrika Records] with [a=Vinny Da Vinci] in 1994, he eventually went on to launch [b]Phat Kat Records[/b] with Fourth World colleague [a=Petro Stathoussis] the following year. Over the course of his career, he became instrumental in the development and promotion of afro-house and what was eventually to become the musical style known as "kwaito". Furthermore, Mr. Katsaidis is also involved in the [l=AfrodesiaMP3] platform/webshop, runs his own [b]Katsaitis Music[/b] company from Pretoria and was the producer behind the late local pop sensation [b]Lebo Mathosa[/b].
