Milutin Vandekar

Croatian composer and toxicologist. Born March 16, 1924 in Zagreb, died November 29, 2014 in Grand-Lancy (Geneva canton), Switzerland. He was a Doctor of Medical Sciences. Studied piano and composition at the Zagreb Music Academy. From 1950 he was a scientific advisor to the Institute for Medical Research in Zagreb. From 1967 to 1984 he worked at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Composed a number of classical music works, two musicals and an opera. He has won several festival awards for his pop melodies.
