Berth Idoffs

Swedish dance band from Bromölla was founded in 1955 by [a8040117], Inge Svensson and Kjell Gummesson. The band rapidly became very popular and grew to six members. In 1974 Berth Idoff sold the orchestra, the gigs and the equipment to [a6301705] and [a6301706]. In 2000 Conny Nilsson decided to step down and Berth Idoffs son Marcus Idoff took over. Marcus is still running the band together with a bunch of musicians with lots of routine. Lead singer of the band was [a8040112] until her death. In 2005 they celebrated 50 years of touring. The band is a "dansband", which is a Swedish type of schlager/folk/country music.
