British classical violinist. Born in Sutherland, Scotland, UK. At the age of 16, he was chosen to play with the [a=National Youth Orchestra Of Great Britain]. He graduated from [l305416] in 1980. After two years, he joined the [a=Roth String Quartet]. He was appointed Principal Second Violin of the [a=London Mozart Players] before joining the Second Violin section of the [a=London Symphony Orchestra] in 1991.
