Flavio Paulin

Italian singer, composer, record producer, also bass player. Born in Trieste, 5 July, 1948, is known mainly for being for many years the most famous [i]"falsetto voice"[/i] (on the band [i]"I Cugini di Campagna"[/i]) of the Italian pop music of the 70's. While abroad this technique and stylistic peculiarity is well represented by various [a=Jon Anderson], [a=Barry Gibb], [a=Ian Gillan], [a=Robert Plant], in Italy his unrealistic and suspended voice is unique, so exciting and spectral, may be because most of the songs by [a=I Cugini di Campagna] represents the background of the imagery teen-aged feminine of the italian province of the decade. Even if not unreachable and not technically perfect his voice remains unique in all senses. He's the founder of the [i]Private Artists Records[/i]. .
