Classical clarinet & chalumeau player and professor. He studied at the [l290263]. He was a member of the [a=National Youth Orchestra Of Great Britain] (1964-1965) and of the [a=New Philharmonia Orchestra]/[a=Philharmonia Orchestra] from 1974 until 2006. Founder member of the [a=London Winds]. Former Head of Woodwind at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Professor of Clarinet at the Royal College of Music.
