Павел Хотин

Pavel Hotin is a Russian musician, electronic producer, and keyboard player, best known as one of the original members of legendary [url=https://discogs.com/artist/210104]Zvuki Mu[/url] band. He joined [url=https://discogs.com/artist/647873]Petr Mamonov[/url] and his brother [url=https://discogs.com/artist/1243609]Alexey Bortniychuk[/url] in 1982 as a first professionally trained musician in the collective and stayed in the "canonical" line-up in 1984-1990. After being fired from the band, he formed an experimental hip-hop project [url=https://discogs.com/artist/853358]MD&C Pavlov[/url] (1991-1995) with another ex-member of Zvuki Mu, drummer [url=https://discogs.com/artist/1259499]Alexey Pavlov[/url]. In 1996, Pavel worked for a year as an art-director of [i]Aquatoria[/i] club. He joined other original members of Zvuki Mu in the [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/1750344]otZvuki Mu[/url] ("Faint Sounds of Mu") live group, which was active at the same time as Mamonov played with his new Zvuki Mu quartet. From 1996 to 2004 Hotin was a member of electronic project [a=TETRIS], which released a debut album and 12-inch single at [l=Pork Recordings] in the UK. In 1998, he was a co-producer of [l=Cosmos Production] label. Pavel Hotin plays in [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/949588]Nikolay Kopernik[/url] band since their reunion in 2005. He also joined a new [a=Moscow Grooves Institute] line-up in summer of 2008.
