Arthur Motta

Jazz Drummer, brother of [a1001464] and [a1032001]. Born November 1922, he is part with his brother Armand of almost all the formations of clarinettist Hubert Rostaing, plays with Django Reinhardt and pianist Jack Diéval. He also plays in the so-called "varieties" orchestras of Jo Bouillon, Ray Ventura and Jacques Météhen. In 1956 he played the drums in the big band "Grand Club Orchestra" which has just been created by pianist and arranger Claude Bolling. He records with this orchestra several albums until 1958. He died in a car accident.
